In order to preserve the function of the menisci, meniscus lesions should be attempted to be repaired whenever possible. Meniscus repair in a suitable patient with the appropriate tear gives good results. It prevents cartilage degeneration that occurs after meniscectomy. Stable fixation must be achieved to enhance the healing process. Techniques have advanced with time in order to facilitate the effective repair of the torn meniscus. The newest-generation repairs, hybrid implants use an all-inside technique with self-adjusting suture devices and combine anchors with sutures. This chapter will focus on arthroscopically assisted suturing techniques outlining necessary instrumentation, setup, surgical techniques, and tips and tricks for surgery on the medial and lateral side.
